dfghjnmk DAMN SCANNER CUT THE SIDES OFF

ok.. ranting over.. it felt good to do some hardcore tradi arts again, this was done with sharpies..

just a little illustration of my character Damian, he isnt really a MAIN character but hes got an apearance in my "Nightmare Realm" comic ^^

was inspired to do this a lil by re-reading my copy of JTHM (wich my friend Cole then stole from me lol jk)

might as well take this opportunity to tell a little about him

His name is inspired by the character from "the Omen" with the same name, its a classic horror movie, not my fav but still ^^
He is the son of satan, i was also playing off the myth of the "anti-christ" being born from a Jackal, so his mother is a Jackal, who happens to be Jack's aunt, so yes
Damian is Jack's cousin, Epic amirite? lol
Damian has an enormous crush on Kayla, who is very religious and (him being who he is) is beyond terrified and repulsed by him.
also Damian has an android guardian (who is the one behind him) another old character i made a looong time ago but only recently brought back into play and re-designed, as of now she has no name xDD

Now im not very religious, i am christian and all that but coem on, characters that have hellish powers of connections to the devil are fun in fiction, so i dont wnat crap about that :heart:

This is so freaking epic!!!!!

And the fact that it's done traditionally with SHARPIES of all things is truly something to behold haha.
The lines are so smooth.
I can't even imagine how awesome this looks in real life.

But the whole origin of him is so creative and I love how you adapted mythological themes into it. Also explains why he looks like a jackal.
I mean that worked out so perfectly!

I love the style and composition in this.
Damain has never looked so menacingly malevolent.

Also what made me laugh is KAYLA AND ZILL'S FACES!
Pfffff I love it. XD
They look so great in contrast to the darkness in the piece.

The robot guardian is tripping me out, it's so cool.
I hope you tell more about it. <33333

Yea the original inspiration for his character, started with Jack being a Jackal, once i had teh idea it stuck an i HAD to do it!!!

Niiiccceee!!! So good that you chose traditional! The scratchy-ness the marker does gives it a better look than Digital would :D
And gaahhhh he looks so menacing! It's so awesome :D

Hey Catholic, and act like an aethist most of the time!
I just don't feel to attached to my religion because the people who run it now a days (and I'm probably gonna piss a whole lot of people off but hey not the first time) lack in morals and shouldn't be running religion. I mean I'm an Swiss-German/Irish-Italian, redneck, greasebag who hates nearly, but at least I'm fuckin' honest about it!

Goodness Viv the detail and linework on this is FANTASTIC! The name added on to the side of Damien is clever and yeah sure JTHM like but it just fits you! This is just completely taken to a whole new level! The background and shines on the "claws"? xD;; are amazing! Great composition and shading :+favlove:.
